Richard Rush's masterpiece. This film is brilliant from begining to end. Rush has made some classic grindhouse films including: THUNDER ALLEY, THE SAVAGE SEVEN, HELLS ANGELS ON WHEELS, and the underrated Alan Arkin and James Caan film FREEBIE AND THE BEAN, but Rush was never better than the work he did here. Plus, you get Peter O'Toole who just owns this film but I have always been a fan of Steve Railsback since ESCAPE 2000 (directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith), he has a really solid performance in this.

"If God could do the things that we can do, he'd be a happy man . . ."

See you on forty deuce,
