An intense performance from Jeff Fahey highlights this cool little shocker about a psychologist who looses his arm as the result of a car accident and finds that the replacement he has been given seems to have a life of its own and is controlling his actions. Does the fact that it was taken from a convicted serial killer have something to do with it? Absurd story, basically a reworking of the famous The Hands of Orlac tale by Maurice Renard, is overshadowed by solid performances and director Eric Red's expert handling of the material. Features a great car chase.
