Long before he was an SS Commander of a legion of Nazi zombies, and before he blew up the peaceful planet of Alderaan, Peter Cushing was a creepy as hell Doctor rebuilding his fiancé’s badly burned face…person…by…person. Considering when it was released the film is surprisingly gory, and Cushing delivers another solid performance which serves to illustrates why he was such a legend in the genre.
