Bert I. Gordon takes yet another stab at the giant monster movie with H.G. Well's THE FOOD OF THE GODS. This time he's blowing up rats, wasps, worms and even chickens to mammoth proportions and sicking them on a group of unlucky patriots stuck in a farmhouse. Poor special effects abound. Final sequence involving an exploding dam is especially bad. H.G. is still probably rolling in his grave.
