TRAILER - THEY LIVE (1988)

THEY LIVE is the last film in John Carpenter's epic 80's run that included: ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, THE THING, BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA, and more. THEY LIVE is filled with social and political suggestions, it is an incredibly smart film that features one of the best (and longest) fist-fights in film history.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper rented at my video store back in the late 80's (his favorite film was Disney's BLACKBEARD'S GHOST). He said originally he only did THEY LIVE because he needed the money but he was always surprised how well it turned out. That is an understatement, THEY LIVE is a classic.

You see them on the street. You watch them on TV. You might even vote for one this fall. You think they're people just like you. You're wrong. Dead wrong.
