Made back in the early 1980s when Hollywood was attempting to revive the 3-D craze of the 1950s, JAWS 3-D is basically a reworking of REVENGE OF THE CREATURE (1955); another monster movie produced in the 3-D format. This time instead of the Gillman it is a 35 foot shark that is terrorizing the good patrons of Sea World. Some good 3-D effects and inventive death scenes help make this a fun sequel though I could have done without Bess Armstrong as one of the leads. Her cutie acting is hard to take at times. Sadly, she doesn't end up on the dinner menu.
