Watermelon grower Vincent Majestyk wants to get his crop in for the season but finds that isn't going to be the case when he runs into some of the standard issues a farmer faces such as labor disputes, unfair arrests and angry hit men. Luckily, he's an ex-army ranger and knows how to handle a gun just as well as a plow.

Classic 70s actioner from veteran director Richard Fleischer is one of Charles Bronson's best films and one of the more popular action films to come out of that era. Tough script by the great Elmore Leonard gives Bronson some of his all-time best lines. The late Al Lettieri makes a menacing villain. A winner.
