TRAILER - CANNIBAL GIRLS (1973)

This was Ivan Reitman's second film and the second straight pairing of SCTV's Eugene Levy and Andrea Martin. Though he produced a few more horror films (and even an Isla film), he would abandon the horror genre and go on to direct some of the most popular comedies of all-time like STRIPES and GHOSTBUSTERS. CANNIBAL GIRLS is a cool little film that can get a bit gimmicky with the bells, but the ideas behind the picture are smart. Eugene Levy and Andrea Martin both turn in solid performances. It's interesting to see Levy in this type of film considering he is now, like Reitman, associated with comedy.
