Tough, gritty spaghetti western stars John Phillip Law as a young man out to avenge the death of his family by a gang of ruthless outlaws. Lee Van Cleef, great as always, plays a gunfighter who helps him on his quest. Full of the kind of violence and gunfights one expects from a film of this sort, DEATH is one of the better westerns from the era and was a major influence on Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill epic.
