Before Robert Blake was on the wrong side of the law he was the shortest motorcycle cop on the force while patrolling the Arizona desert in Electra Glide in Blue. A failure with critics when first released, the film has garnered a cult following in recent years and is now considered a forgotten cop classic from the early 70s. Featuring a great performance from Blake, a wild motorcycle chase and wonderful soundtrack, Electra Glide in Blue was the only film to be directed by record producer James William Guercio. The ending is a shocker.
