TRAILER - DEATHSPORT (1978)

A follow up of sorts to the 1975 cult classic Death Race 2000, Deathsport reunites some of the same creative team from that film, including legendary B Movie Producer Roger Corman, for a trashy good time. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the film follows the adventures of Kaz Oshay, played by David Carradine, and his love interest, Deneer, Playboy Playmate Claudia Jenning, as they battle B Movie bad guy veteran Richard Lynch in the Deathsport, an event that has replaced the death penalty and allows criminals to battle for their freedom. Full of futuristic motorcycle chases and cheap special effects, the film is a trash lover’s dream. Jerry Garcia, from Grateful Dead fame, contributes to the soundtrack. Another trashy win from Corman.
