Another great cult classic from Roger Corman and New World Pictures, Death Race 2000 is the one about a futuristic cross-country race where drivers score points by hitting pedestrians. Starring David Carradine and a pre Rocky Sylvester Stallone, the film is one of the liveliest and funniest cult movies to come out of the 1970s. The flick offers up oodles of amazing car stunts and a healthy dose of satire and is smarter than it should be. Remade as Death Race in 2008 with Corman again producing. The man never quits!
